TANDJE BEACH RESORT - Camping & Beach chalets

The resort currently offers a large beachfront campsite, dive camps and a dolphin research camp. Tandje actually means “Queen Mother” and the resort is close to the traditional burial ground of a powerful and previous King of the area. We offer accommodation and activities for all, from divers, snorkellers and fisherman, sun worshippers and holiday makers. The accommodation available is 2 bed, 4 bed, sea facing chalets and camping.

SIMPLY SCUBA DIVE CAMP - Tented Accommodation

The accommodation of the dive camp consists of 72 large dome tents. All tents are shaded under reed structures, and all have 2 beds, fully equipped with mattresses, sheets, pillows and duvets. Meandering concrete walkways link all tents to the dining and kitchen area, the dive kit-up mat and the enclosed ablution facility. We offer full self-catering facilities, or excellent value-for-money catered packages.

DOLPHIN ENCOUNTOURS DIVE CAMP - Reed Huts

This magical and quaint beach camp is right on the beach. It is here that one will drift off into peaceful slumber with dolphin experiences guiding you into a dreamtime and the hum of the ocean on your doorstep. The Dolphin Beach Camp houses two types of accommodation, reeded casitas and more up-market two sleeper wooden chalets (plug points, mossie net and fan included in wooden).

SCUBA ADVENTURES DIVE CAMP - Tented accommodation

This Dive camp consists of permanent tents, erected on a concrete floor, under a thatched waterproof covering, and "Barracas" traditional Mozambican reed huts. Scuba Adventures operates a permanent dive base from the Motel, and the "kitting up / Beach Control Deck" is situated on a thatched wooden deck, on the grass behind the restaurant. This is convenient for the divers, as it is directly opposite the Cabanas, and they, and their equipment is transported from there to the dive boats on the beach. After each dive, they are collected and returned to the Deck.

THE WHALER DIVE CAMP - Tents & Reed Huts

This dive camp provides a Robinson Crusoe rustic type accommodation with the beach & ocean on our doorstep. The camp has several communal facilities for your comfort and relaxation. These facilities are a covered lounge/dinning area, braai facility and a fully equipped kitchen with limited fridge/freezer space, which are available for self – catering. Accommodation is standard reed huts.

MOTEL DO MAR - Self Catering Cabanas

The Motel Do Mar is a self-catering facility that is located directly on the beach in Ponta D’ Ouro southern Mozambique. The resort caters primarily for scuba divers and deep-sea fisherman alike. 40 self catered cabanas offer basic but comfortable accommodation all with direct private access through the central facility to the beach.  Catered packages are available through the centre bar & restaurant.

CAFÉ DEL MAR - Guest Rooms

The main feature of Cafe Del Mar is the amazing ocean view. Built on a wooden deck, and overlooking the whole of Ponta do Ouro. Cafe Del Mar has twelve island-style, reeded chalet's, which can sleep up to 24 people in total. These chalets can be fitted with one double bed or two single beds and includes a fan, power point, cabinets for personal belongings and naturally, mosquito nets. There's a communal bathroom facility for the ladies and gents respectably, with warm water and power points. This spot is kept spotless right through the day and will astound even the hardest perfectionist.

DEVOCEAN DIVE CAMP - Tented Accommodation

We offer accommodation in luxury tents, rooms or self-catering houses. There are 10 tents, each one sleeping 2 people. Our cottage style tents are individually situated in a lush garden.  The rooms are made-up of 2 single and 2 double rooms for a total of 6 people. The Guest House has a living room overlooking our camp.  We also offer 2 self-catering houses - one sleeps 8 and the other 10 people. The Nursery house has three bedrooms, one with a double bed, and two with two singles.
                                   

CO CABANA - Self Catering Rooms

Coco Cabanas has 14 self-catering cabanas in a tranquil garden setting in Ponta do Ouro, Southern Mozabique.  The cabanas sleep 4 and offer basic, clean and comfortable accommodation with own bathroom and shower.  Easch cabana has a small kitchenette equipped bedding is supplied and the cabanas are service daily.  Coco Cabanas is an easy walk to the beach (about 250m), resaurants, craft centre and village shops.

MERMAID HOUSE - Guesthouse

This double storey house has 4 bedrooms – 2 downstairs and 2 upstairs.  2 Rooms with 2 single beds and 2 rooms with 1 double and 1 single bed.  All the rooms have mosquito nets.  An open plan kitchen, dinning room and lounge with a balcony overlooking the ocean. The house sleeps 10 people and is serviced daily.

PERREIRA HOUSE - Private owned house

This house is situated on the beach and sleeps a maximum of 17 people.  With 4 bedrooms, sleeping 3 people in each and 2 rooms outside with bathrooms, sleeping 2 in each.  There’s a swimming pool for your comfort and a braai area overlooking a gorgeous sea view.

SPACE HOUSE - Private owned house

This house is located on the main road to Ponta Molangane. The Double storey house has a majestic view of the village and ocean.  With 5 bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen, sundeck, including umbrellas, gas and wood braais, a table and chairs and daily service it makes the best family holiday choice.

LITTLE INDIA - Private owned house

This double storey house has 4 bedrooms – 2 downstairs and 2 upstairs.  An open plan kitchen, dinning room and lounge with a balcony overlooking the ocean.  2 Rooms with 2 single beds and 2 rooms with 1 double and 1 single bed.  All the rooms have mosquito nets the house sleeps 10 people and is serviced daily.

BRITTLE STAR - Guesthouse

Set in the hub of Ponta do Ouro and yet only a 300m walk from the main beach, Brittlestar overlooks the bay of Ponta Do Ouro.  Brittlestar is a 9 bedroom lodge.  Brittlestar also has a 10-sleeper house on the same premises. The house sleeps ten privately (three bedrooms). One bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. The house has secure parking and can be hired as a single entity with or without self-catering or as individual rooms on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.

PRAIRE DE OURO SUL - Luxury Lodge                                       

Praie de Ouro Sul is situated in southern Mozambique, between Kwa Zulu Natal and Mozambique.  This Beautiful fully furnished house with an incredible Sea view is build with in the resort of Praia de Ouro Sul.  It has 3 bedrooms (1 x Double and 2 x Twins) a Kitchen with Cheryy wood finishes and granite tops and its fully equipped.  The permanent tents accommodate four people in an open area.

NTSUTY LODGE - Self catering chalets

These lovely quaint little houses are situated just behind the Ponta do Ouro Camp area and over look the bay of Ponta do Ouro. Nestled in the natural surroundings of the Ponta Do Ouro bay. They offer privacy and are only a short way away from the beach area. Accessible only with a 4 x 4 vehicle, and is highly recommended that you have one when travelling to Ponta, as you will need one to get around.

This house is in 5km north of Ponta. 4 bedroom but the kids room has bunks and can accommodate more.  3 x d /beds. 1 x bunk + single bed + 3 x kids sleeper mattresses. Mozi netts in double rooms.
2 x en-suites + 1 bigger bathroom with bath.  All bedding, cooking, drinking,eating utensils are there.Bath towels provided (not beach towels).

MAR E SOL COMPLEX - Luxury Timber Home Lodge

This exclusive log houses are located in the Mar E Sol complex directly on the stunning beach front of the Ponta D’ Ouro bay with unparalleled views of the ocean and coastline. The houses are nestled in the natural surroundings of the Ponta Do Ouro bay.  There are 3 bedrooms (2 rooms with queen size beds, 1 room with 2 x sets of bunk beds) and a double sleeper couch on the upstairs landing.  All linen is supplied except for towels and dishcloths.  In the Kitchen- Gas braai and bottle, gas stove, kettle, and toaste, cutlery, crockery, pots, a pan and a fridge & freezer.  There are 4 wall mounted fans.  There are 2 bathrooms with sowers, toilet and wash basin.  Hot and cold water, plug points and one INCREDIBLE view,  will ensure a holiday of a lifetime.

CAMPISO NINHO - Resitdent Upmarket Timber Lodge

Campismo Ninho is situated at the subtropical Southern tip of Mozambique, approximately 17kms from the South African border. Campismo Ninho is the “newest addition” to the area & at present, we have the following to offer: Pub (with DSTV)and small beer garden, serves food and a pool + security.

5km north of Ponta. 4 bedroom but the kids room has bunks and can accommodate more. 3 x d /beds. 1 x bunk + single bed + 3 kids sleeper mattresses. BARRA LODGE

 The lodge is nestled amongst groves of coconut trees and the warm Indian Ocean offers safe bathing all year round.  Wide open, sun-drenched beaches offer endless hours of strolling pleasure. Barra has 12, 2 - bedded en-suite casitas and 8, 4 - bedded en-suite family casitas. All bedding and mosquito nets are supplied and rooms are serviced daily. Barra Lodge offers a selection of cottages with two or three bedrooms. There are 2 bunkhouses each accommodating 16 guests.

 Flamingo Bay Water Lodge is situated in the pristine tidal bay of Inhambane. The lodge is situated on stilts on the crystal clear waters of the warm Indian Ocean.
