| Just two hours
north of Durban and forty five minutes from the national
airport of Richards Bay lies the gateway to the Greater
St. Lucia Wetland Park (GSLWP). The area offers
exceptional diversity, remarkable scenery, the largest
estuarine system on the African Continent, and superb
game viewing.
The sandy beach consists of three unique adjacent half-moon coves and the beachfront is characterised by high, forested sandy dunes with rolling coastal plains and a mosaic of forest situated behind the dunes. The development site is located in an area of indigenous forest behind the primary dunes and above the intertidal rocks. Due to its aesthetic appeal and level of seclusion, the site is suitable for a small or medium-sized lodge or boutique hotel.
