The Ponta Malongane Beach resort is an existing tourism facility that presently caters mainly for the South African and local tourist. Located within the lush vegetation of a dune Eco-system, the resort fronts a natural bay that affords protection to the beach zone and creates a perfect launch site for boating and watersports. The resort is comprised of chalets, camping site, bar and restaurant, scuba dive camp and log cabins. The western boundary of the resort is located close to a natural lake that forms part of a huge estuarine system. This lake may be utilised for bird watching and sunset cruises. The site itself is one of the most prized locations on the Southern Mozambican coastline and offers potential investors unrestricted views, direct beach access, pristine scuba diving and accommodation nestled within thick lush tropical beach vegetation.
The brief is to refurbish and upgrade the existing resort plus create an infrastructure to support this upgrade i.e.; conference centre, swimming pool, tennis court, syndicated houses and entertainment centre. |
